It was great to see Forensic Architecture's work in person. I was intrigued by the presentation strategy in such a multi-faceted and multi-media exhibition. Obviously its a collaboration with space as well as the curators at Artspace, which points out that there are always suggestions and different ways to adapt the artwork according to how it may work within a spatial context. How might different elements of a project be communicated through different mediums to compel an international audience. There is also the same or a similar Forensic Architecture exhibition happening in Europe simultaneously, as i had seen online. This is interesting to think about in terms of art -- digital art in particular -- being able to cross over international spaces in this covid era and having conversations across seas, on the other side of the world. Simulations conversation happening through a artistic practice. Their work is also about mapping and carrying out interventions on an worldwide scale, so such a way to carry out simultaneous exhibitions seems very apt and carries a relationship with these ideas. Methodology matches the presentation.
