This is just a quick brainstorming experiment I did, looking at ideas of landscape through digital maps. I was just pressing buttons to switch back and forth through satellite and map versions, and then putting it through a slow zooming-in motion through iMovie. Looking at how this creates theatricality and ideas of perceiving land through digital manipulation, but there are also ideas of disorientating landscape's imagery through abstraction and also something about it the flashing relates to ideas of emergency alters ...or highlights the use of maps the media uses to inform, circulate ideas/propaganda/create diversions to public on topographical/atmospheric, social and political situations.
